Tell me
what’s
going on.
A private appointment. Help for your family. Someone to arrange treatment and follow through after discharge. Choose the work you need.
What needs
to happen?
You need to talk through your drinking. Your family needs a plan for treatment. Someone is leaving rehab with appointments nobody has booked.
I work directly with adults and families, make provider calls and help carry out the arrangements. Choose one service or combine them.
Start with what’s happening.
Private sessions
Work on your drinking or drug use, cravings, relationships or a family situation. Meet once or make it a regular appointment.
Family support
For the mom, dad, spouse or partner who has been running everything. You can start with help for yourself, even if they won’t.
Intervention
For families who are done waiting for things to get worse. Get the people, the care options and the next steps ready before the conversation.
Treatment coordination
I’ll call programs and medication providers, check intake requirements and help arrange admission. You won’t be left with a list of phone numbers.
Aftercare
Treatment ends. The appointments, bills, cravings and relationships still need attention. I’ll work with you on the life you come home to.
Practical recovery support
The first days home. A wedding, funeral, court date or work trip. Support where recovery gets tested, with the service and hours arranged ahead.
Leave more
in your hands.
We practice making the call, keeping the appointment or holding the boundary. As you take on more yourself, we review how much support you need.
Which service
fits?
Which addiction service should I start with?+
Tell me what’s happening before worrying about the service name. A private session may be enough to get started. An intervention, a treatment admission or a difficult transition may call for more involvement.
What’s the difference between a private session and ongoing support?+
A private session gives us time to work directly on your situation. Ongoing involvement can also include family work, agreed calls and messages, provider coordination and practical help between appointments.
Can you help me find treatment and stay involved afterward?+
Yes. I can make provider calls, organize intake and help arrange admission. After discharge, we can continue with appointments, family work and support at home.
Can a family hire you if the person using won’t participate?+
Yes. Family support can begin with the parent, partner or other adult who calls. We’ll focus on your decisions and what you can do, including how you want to offer help.
Can I hire you just for testing, transport or a companion?+
You can ask for a specific practical service. I consider those requests individually. Before it starts, we’ll agree on the work, delivery arrangements, consent, reporting and cost.
Where can I get private addiction support in Central Iowa?+
I offer in-person support in Des Moines and Central Iowa, with phone or video appointments across Iowa. Travel and practical services depend on the work requested.
